Hi everyone!
It’s been an incredible few months filled with creative #adventures, meaningful connections, and #transformative experiences. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the highlights and share some exciting news about what’s coming up. Buckle up, because it’s been quite a ride!

WOW Festival & My First In-Person Art and Meditation Class
One of the standout moments of the past few months was my involvement in the #WOWFestival at #TheSentryCircle in #Northallerton. It was such a vibrant celebration of #creativity and #community, and I had the opportunity to dive into my passion for art and #meditation. I was able to deliver my Intentional Creating For Focus in person and the feedback was incredible!
This was the debut of my first in-person art and meditation class, which was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking. Seeing people engage with the art and find a moment of peace through #meditation was incredibly rewarding.
The #festival environment was perfect for sparking #inspiration, and it was fantastic to witness so many different forms of creativity coming together. The #energy was electric, and it reminded me of why I love doing what I do.

Make and Mend Festival: A Journey of Reconnection
Following the WOW Festival, I had the pleasure of delivering my art and meditation class at the #MakeandMendFestival at #NationalTrust #OrmesbyHall in #middlesbrough. This experience was special because it allowed me to help participants #reconnect with themselves through #artisticexpression and #mindfulness. It’s amazing how art and meditation can work together to foster a deeper understanding of oneself and encourage personal growth - I loved seeing people grow. The #MakeandMendFestival was a beautiful setting for this kind of work, and it was heart warming to see how engaged and enthusiastic everyone was. The festival’s focus on creativity and self-care aligned perfectly with the goals of my class, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive - In fact it was so special I had a little cry!

Collaborating with Catcote Futures
Another highlight was working with the talented group from #CatcoteFutures. We collaborated on an #exhibition showcasing their remarkable #artwork. It was an honour to be part of this journey, and seeing their work displayed so prominently at Hartlepool Art Gallery, where I do my in person art classes and was a testament to their creativity and hard work.
The exhibition was a celebration of their unique talents looking at #insects, #HenryMatisse and #natureprinting. Working with such an inspiring group of people was a reminder of the #powerofart to connect and uplift.
START in Hartlepool: Supporting Recovery through Art
My collaboration with START in Hartlepool has also been a significant part of my recent work and one which means an awful lot to me. I delivered art sessions designed to support individuals in #recovery, helping them create artwork for the STIGMA exhibition held at #HartlepoolArtGallery
It was a profound experience to witness how art can play a role in healing and #personaldevelopment.
The STIGMA exhibition, celebrating the #nationalRecoveryMonth provided a platform for these artists to showcase their journey and growth. The process of creating and sharing their work was both therapeutic and empowering.
Being part of this initiative underscored the transformative power of art in recovery. It was a great exhibition opening with Steve Kennedy's incredible, powerful artwork along side it.

Wellness Walks with New Perspectives
I also had the opportunity to lead a #wellnesswalks with New Perspectives. These walks were not only a chance to enjoy the great #outdoors but also to engage in conversations about well-being and #mindfulness. It’s incredible how nature can provide such a soothing backdrop for introspection and personal growth.
The wellness walks were a wonderful addition to my recent projects, offering a chance to connect with people in a relaxed and open #environment. It was a refreshing reminder of the importance of taking time for ourselves and finding peace in the simple things. If you know know anything about me then you know I love being outdoors!
Elephant Rock Programme on the Headland
Finally, I had the pleasure of delivering art sessions for the #ElephantRock programme on the #Headland in Hartlepool, thanks to the support of the #JosephRowntreeFoundation. These sessions were all about fostering creativity and community spirit. It was fantastic to see year 6 pupils engaged in art activities that encouraged imagination!
Looking Ahead: Upcoming Classes and Projects
As we move forward, I’m thrilled to announce a series of new classes and projects which can be found here. These upcoming sessions will build on the experiences of the past few months and continue to explore #art, #mindfulness, and #community.
Sip and Paint - Monthly art evening sessions!
Art of Sound - Afternoon sound bath and art session
Stay tuned for updates on class schedules and new initiatives. I can’t wait to continue this creative journey with all of you and see where our artistic explorations take us next.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Your support and enthusiasm mean the world, and I’m looking forward to the exciting adventures ahead!

Emily
