"Emily painted an energy painting for my Grandmother Mary Hill. The photo I sent is very special to me as it’s her as a young woman and I see a lot of myself in it. I was excited to see the painting and as soon as I looked at it, I felt her. The colours were ones that she would wear and I could really feel her presence. I loved the painting.
On a trip to Glasgow, I took the painting to show my mum and aunt. As soon as my aunt saw it she burst into tears. She was so moved by it and also felt her presence within the artwork Emily had created.
