Ostara: Stepping into Spring 22nd March | Sound, Energy and Art As the wheel turns and we move into Ostara — the Spring Equinox — this is a moment of balance, renewal and quiet awakening. A time to step gently out of winter and consciously into what we wish to grow. Join myself, Emily of ECCarter Art, and Lloyd for a deeply nourishing afternoon of sound, creativity and connection. Lloyd will guide us through an immersive sound journey using crystal bowls, sharing his years of experience working with energy and helping us tune into our own and how to use this in the coming months. From this space, I will lead a collective creative process. Working on large shared sheets of paper, we’ll explore the shadows and delicate forms of spring flowers — noticing shape, light and movement. We’ll then begin layering, adding watercolour, allowing colour to flow intuitively across the page. This is not about artistic skill. It is about intention. Together we will reflect on: What are you ready to release from winter? What are you stepping into? What seeds are you planting for the months ahead? Through mark-making, layering and colour, you’ll create a visual expression of your intentions for spring. No experience is needed. All materials provided. Just bring yourself, an open mind and a willingness to step forward into the new season. Spring is coming. What will you grow? This is a NO PRESSURE CLASS, no one is looking for perfection - instead I just want you to have some time to yourself in a relaxed environment - and just have FUN! Who am I? I'm Emily - a qualified art teacher of 17 years.
