BLOCK of 6 LESSONS (£16.50 per 2 hr session - cheapest option) Wednesdays 10am - 12pm @ Hartlepool Art Gallery TERM TIME 15th,22nd,29th November 6th,13th, 20th Dec WHO IS THIS FOR? - Beginners and those who like to dabble and want to learn more about watercolours - For those who like to develop skills and who want to get back into it - Anyone needing a bit of guidance with no pressure WHEN IS THIS? - Join a warm and friendly group on a WEDNESDAY 10am - 12pm - Hartlepool Art Gallery - Church Street, Hartlepool, TS24 7EQ - PARKING - Transport Interchange - BUS - Local routes - Victoria road and Transport Interchange WHO AM I? I'm Emily, I've been a qualified art teacher for the last 15yrs. I have recently become a full time. freelance artist! WOOHOO! I have a Masters in Art Pedagogy and have worked in many different areas including watercolours, printing, painting, collage, drawing etc. Over the past few years I have branched out to work within the local community and teach adults. I am knowledgeable in many different medias and have my own art business in landscape and abstract paintings. You will be working in a watercolour sketchbook looking at modern and more traditional techniques. Relax in a calm environment with like minded people. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED? Bring your own EQUIPMENT OR for £20 I will provide your materials (Bring on first lesson) - Watercolour Paper - 'Cold Pressed/NOT' or 'Rough' @300gsm (minimum paper weight) - Masking Fluid - Brushes - Round head (small and big)/ 1inch flat head/fan brush/large brush (these do not have to be expensive, please message me if you need help)as long as you have a small medium and large you will be grand! - washi tape and /or masking tape Bring your own high quality photos YOU WILL: Week 1 - Formal elements, colour and experimenting Week 2 - Flowers Week 3 - Landscape Week 4 - Animals Week 5 and 6 - Your own picture and 4 hours to work on it Any questions just ask!
